Founded in 1997, the North Dakota Association of Nonprofit Organizations’ (NDANO) mission is strengthening member nonprofits, building community and enhancing quality of life. NDANO, a member of the National Council of Nonprofits, serves its members and the state nonprofit sector in four core service areas: public policy and advocacy; professional development, training and education; communication, information and research; and cost-saving programs. NDANO’s members includes nonprofits of all sizes from all areas of the state working in many different mission areas – from human services and the environment to education and the arts. As a membership organization dedicated to strengthening North Dakota nonprofits, NDANO encourages best practices and accountability in nonprofit management. |

The North Dakota Humanities Council is dedicated to enriching the civic, intellectual, and cultural life of North Dakota. The NDHC sponsors free cultural programs across the state, including book discussions, Chautauqua performances, lectures, symposiums, Communiversity courses, and documentary films. “We have ways of making you think.” |
