YP network structure examples

Below are four structure types from North Dakota YP networks. There is no "right" way to structure your YP network; do what works best for your community.

 

Chamber Partnership YP
Example: Bismarck-Mandan YP

STRUCTURE
Chamber provides financial and membership list management.
Network consists of Officers, administrative teams, and action teams. President leads Leadership Team, team leads from each Action Team attend LT meetings.

Professional Development
Operations
Entrepreneurial
Ambassador
Leadership
Government Affairs

OTHER
Team membership is voluntary
Age 21-39 welcome
Membership dues, $20 chamber members, $40 non-chamber members.


Service Organization Partnership YP
Example: Dickinson YP

STRUCTURE
Rotary Club partnership – Rotary provides financial assistance (first two years), guidance, support.
Network consists of Officers and teams.

TEAMS

OTHER
• Team membership is voluntary
• No membership dues


Chamber Driven YP
Example: Greater Fargo Area YP

STRUCTURE
Chamber provides financial, and membership list management, as well as YP events planning.
Network consists of Chamber YP Coordinator, committee members, and teams.
