The North Dakota Young Professionals (NDYP) Network is looking for the best of the best. Does your business employ individuals under the age of 40? Does your company have an internship program? Do you believe your business is one of the best places to work in the state? If so, your company is eligible to apply for the 2011 NDYP Best Place to Work and Intern Awards.
Deadline for applications is December 2, 2011.
The Best Place to Work and Intern awards, started by NDYP in 2008, are a reflection of the creativity and innovation that businesses offer young professionals (YP). In order to be considered for the award, applicants must submit a questionnaire about company benefits, advancement opportunities, and why the business is an outstanding place for young professionals to work. A state-wide committee of NDYP judges reviews nominees, and determines winners and runners-up (if applicable).
Winners are selected based on a pre-set criterion examining how the business benefits individuals, how the organization supports local YP networks and YP development, and finally on how the company gives back to the community. Extra attention is paid to unique best practices that are used to develop the work environment and create opportunities for individuals.
Past Best Place to Work winners include Sundog, Fargo, N.D., North Dakota Stockmen’s Association, Bismarck, N.D., and North Dakota Department of Transportation, Bismarck, N.D. Past Best Place to Intern winners include Ebeltoft . Sickler . Lawyers . PLLC, Dickinson, N.D., Absolute Marketing, Moorhead, Minn., and McFarlane Sheet Metal, Grand Forks, N.D.
