A little bit about how and when you got started
Cote Creative truly got started when I was a kid. Creativity and design is in my blood, it has been ever since I was a kid. I was the kid with more doodles in my notebook than actual notes. My love for art continued into my young adulthood. After graduating college with a degree in design, marketing and sociology, I fell away from design for some time, instead working temp positions. It wasn’t until a few years later, after struggling through personal tragedy, did I remember my true love for creativity and design. Shaken and in despair of a a failed marriage, homelessness and a car accident, I decided it was time to make a positive change with a fresh start. I persevered through the whirlwind of life that year, and came out stronger for it. About a year later, I decided to open Cote Creative, LLC. I knew it wasn’t going to be easy, but it was a dedicated decision I made for myself as an independent human being. Cote Creative became an LLC early spring of 2015.

What should people know about your business
Cote Creative, LLC is an innovative graphic design studio, always open to new ideas on how to engage your customers. I develop a wide variety of design, everything from logos to menus to posters. Pretty much, if you want it, we can design it and get it printed. I start with a one-on-one consultation with you to fully understand what you are looking for and bring you the best possible service. My mission is to fill your need to engage customers and make your brand stand out in the crowd with classic design and remarkable flair. I am also involved with artistic and cultural events in the community. We believe it’s important to promote artistic and cultural growth and support creativity in our community.

What’s one tip that you have for other YPs that are interested in starting a business
One tip I have for YP’s interested in starting a business is to absorb as much knowledge as you can before, during and after you start your business. Always be open to learning, and understand that the learning process is never over. You don’t have to know it all right away, but continually be learning as you go. Learn from the greats by reading books on their business endeavors, learn from their failures as much as their successes. Invest in yourself with knowledge. Surround yourself by like minded people, find mentors and consultants.

Where can people learn more about your business
People can learn more about my business on my Facebook page www.facebook.com/cotecreative or call 701-871-2190 if they want to learn about services. I’m all about one-on-one meetings, so let’s grab a coffee together to learn and grow in business together.
