At the 2010 census, our population was 1394. Some facts about our
community: we are a college town. Trinity Bible College has been
progressively growing and building. They have recently built a new, state
of the art student center. These students add a good balance of diversity
to our community. There are always new, interesting people to meet and
build relationships.

There are probably more places to buy a good cup of coffee per capita than
anywhere in the nation. Serving amazing coffees: The Bakery, The Fireside
Family Restaurant, The Perk (drive through kiosk), and the college also has
a coffee shop. All four of these places also serve amazing desserts to
satisfy any sweet tooth. These are all hot spots in our community!

Pheasant Lanes Bowling offers many children and adults, young and old,
entertainment year round. Weekly specials and events are held throughout
the year to accommodate the genre of people in our community.

The Drive In restaurant is seasonal and has ice cream and a full menu.

In the fall, we have our annual Applefest. We are in the process of making
this a two day event. We celebrate our community with fun activities from
apple related events like pie contests and apple bobbing to main street
entertainment of blow up equipment for kids, an entertaining parade & a
show on the main stage. This event brings vendors from all over the tri
state area.

The historic O.P.E.R.A house is a beautiful building in Ellendale that has
been aggressively being remodeled. Plays and singing events are hosted
there several times throughout the year. These events range from music
themed performances to pie socials. These events are updated on our website
and advertised throughout the southeast part of ND regularly. We are very
proud of this building and the organizations that support it.

I grew up in a small town, but Ellendale is a “different” small town. This
community binds together and takes care of one another and even strangers
too. My son had a bad accident and the out pouring of support from the
entire town was warm and healing!

We would love you to visit our community!
