The Great Plains Young Professional (GPYP) Summit was created by NDYP in response to similar national events. NDYP saw an opportunity to bring comparable programing closer to home and provide an extensive professional development/networking opportunity to young professionals throughout our state and region. The GPYP Summit is geared toward young professionals, age 21-39, and fosters professional development, enables the sharing of ideas and creates a personal and professional network. The Summit is comprised of nationally recognized speakers, inspiring and educational break-out sessions, and welcoming and informal networking events. It is NDYP’s hope that the Summit will educate and inspire young professionals, as well as connect them with other young professionals across the state. More than 100 attendees experienced the inaugural GPYP Summit held in Bismarck June 3-5, 2010. The 2011 Summit will be held in Fargo June 15-17, with Minot hosting the 2012 Summit.
