NDYP in conjunction with Economic Development Association of North Dakota (EDND) and North Dakota Economic Development Foundation (NDEDF) host a legislative social for members of the North Dakota Legislature. This event happens every legislative biennium and is organized through an NDYP board committee.
This social provides an opportunity for young professionals across North Dakota to visit with their policy makers about the issues important to them.
EDND and NDEDF provide the financial backing for this event and NDYP provides the manpower: personally inviting legislators to the social, assisting with registration, serving as greeters and taking pictures during the event. NDYP members also serve as the event’s emcee.
The legislative social traditionally takes place in February.
